A Need Undiminished

Description

And Jesus, when He came out, saw a great multitude and was moved with compassion for them, because they were like sheep not having a shepherd. So He began to teach them many things. (Mark 6:34)

Facing a task unfinished,
That drives us to our knees,
A need that undiminished,
Rebukes our slothful ease,
We, who rejoice to know Thee,
Renew before Thy throne,
The solemn pledge we owe Thee,
To go and make Thee known.

Where other lords beside Thee
Hold their unhindered sway,
Where forces that defied Thee,
Defy Thee still today,
With none to heed their crying
For life, and love, and light,
Unnumbered souls are dying,
And pass into the night.

Well, I need to get it short, though there was a lot I would like to speak about. But there was a comment of someone offended in the video. I must agree with him. We christians don't have authority to condemn them because we have our own pagan rituals [Hallowing in english-speaking countries as example, but many others in all over the "christian countries"]. If we followed more the Bible, then the dates God estabilished to hold festivities in the right times, all of them complete and each of them pointing for the actions our Savior made and will make, we would have a lot of authority and even content to show other people [and even link with them] the reasons of our faith. But no, we have become arrogant enough to allow this thought: "these old testament things are all past, we don't need them anymore, we are all made new and free to guide our lives as we wish, and to celebrate what, where, when and how we want". So this rebelion don't allow us to have authority and even some of the unbelievers seems to be more fair than us. We still hold some uses bounding us to some spirital prostitution acts. The epsitle of Jude is all a warning against rebelion and sin.

Faith is much more logical and reasonable than expected. Because we expect things not shown yet, but based in real signs given before, attesting the true character of God. If we don't believe, or discard the signs given before, we won't have something concrete to prove our belief in the future. This is doubt, and beause of doubt all the "christian nations" are becoming agnostic, immoral, infatuated and superficial, the opposite what they should be.
